Zach - acknowledged the rumors and said he's ready to play anywhere and glad he's a Knick. Said he don't mind coming off the bench if it helps the team win games. He's in ok shape. He's been playing ball like crazy. He made it to the volentary camps. He also played ball against qualty comp this summer so he's ready to go.

Q, Jared - these guys were absolutely terrible last season......but....D'antoni has done nothing but praise Jared. He made a point to call him out as impressive. Q? Not much being said except he appears to have a "swagger". He may have his confidence back. He does look noticably smaller in the media day picks. Its a great sign from these two.

Nate - not a peep from Nate Rob all summer or in any interviews. Good sign.....not that he's a guy that makes noise in the media, but we'd at least have heard something goofy about the dude by now.

David Lee - also quiet. Not even one interview the whole summer. He's gonna get paid so I guess he's all business. "Go Knicks".

Wilson Chandler, Gallo - you would think the ny media would be tryin to make Wilson nervou with al the high praise he's had over his vast improvement. Not a peep. But Gallo, even though his back is ****ed and all the bad stuff us fans and media are saying about him......he keeps saying he's gonna be ready to play by 0ct. 30th. Balls out.

Duhon and Marbs - Marbs looks to be in awesome shape. You wanna applaud him and wish him well but then he opens his mouth. Duhon is a bum role player that was over paid to become a Knick. With that said the first things that come out his mouth "I'm a compeditor". He said out right that he wants to prove to his peers and coaches that he belongs on a nba roster. Why can't Marbs say that? Difference btw a real ball player and a ****ing douche bag.

Eddy curry - he's a fat piece of ****. Knicks should bench him and place him under a intense diet and excersise plan for 3 months and then let him play in Dec. No heart. Already claiming he can't believe he's here. His counterpart Zach Randolph said exactly the opposite. So why isn't Eddy Curry on the trade block?

Houston? Junior? Roberson? - glad to see them and I hope they all make the team

Collins and Jerome James - by them out cuz they're worthless.

agreed about Curry's crummy attitude... sounds to me like he doesn't wanna be here either... kick him to the curb w/Marbs... at least Zach sounds like he's ready to play... let's see if he delivers on his team first mentality promise... if he does then maybe just maybe someone will wanna take him off our hands next year w/o us having to give up any assets.

It's all good but:
marbs/D'Antony --- incompatible
zack/D'Antony --- incompatible
Eddy/bbal --- incompatible
Craf/D'Antony --- hardly workable
Jeffries and Q --- can this guys still play in NBA?
JJ and Mardy --- aggre about them

Thr rest of the bunch will be OK... But so much junk man... Too much junk...

Didn't Z-Bo at one point complain about coming off the bench last year? I'm not so convinced that's changed.

^ I'm not so sure either, but I do think ZBo actually respect D'Antoni whereas it was pretty clear from the onset Randolph had none for Thomas.

When? He didn't complain. He had a chance to do what marbury did and he just took it on the Chin and ended up getting back in right away anyway cuz fat Curry got into foul trouble.

Zach never openly complained as a Knick. Stop making stuff up.

"I don't plan on coming off no bench for the rest of the season."

Those were his exact words. Look it up in Google if you still think I'm making it up.

Or better yet, look at this post-game article.

Well the purpose of this thread was to point out the positives......its easy to allow Curry, Marbs, and Jerome to drag you down.

Truth is Zach, Lee, wilson, nate, jared, craw, q, duhon........these mofos are ready for war. Roberson, Houston, Junior? Their hungry......D'antoni is hungry.

Respect due to the ones that count.

What counts? D'antoni's system. Don't bitch about how stupid our players are. They aren't stupid. Yes Marbs, Malik, Jerome, and Curry are stupid. What they have to d with anything?

Can't go uptempo? What?
Lee and Nate are psychotic atheletes. When was the last time they got tired or had a problem running the floor? Craw might take a shot that makes your balls go back inside you, but who is questioning his skills especially in the open court? Zach has a problem holding the rock, only cuz the Knicks never had a system. D'antoni will be practicing ballmovement and what they are trying to do on offense. I have no reason to believe Zach is gonna screw that up. Jared played uptempo with Coach Jordan with the Wizards and excelled as a role player. D'antoni will give him that again. Duhon excelled in the bulls small up and down attack. Wilson may have a break out year this year. Q had his best season as a pro playing for D'antoni.......

What is there to be worried about? D'antoni aint no ***** and there are more good players with real league experience now to overcome 4 bad seeds in Marbs, Curry, Malik, and Jerome.

Can you count suckas?

"I don't plan on coming off no bench for the rest of the season."

But don't our preconceptions color these comments as well? Why should Randolph expect to come off the bench for the rest of the season when despite his shortcomings he was the best scorer and rebounder on the team?

I remember that Riley once taught Starks a lesson when he was in a slump. Starks mentioned that he should be benched then Riley did bench him and wondered to the press why anyone would say that.

Randolph has his problems but he comes to play. if every Knick player was as "terrible" as Randolph was last year we probably would have been in the playoff hunt at least.

I really don't care if steph stays or goes, his personality is over the top a little and thats because he is a very confident player.. The press baits this guy into saying some ridiculous stuff but im just not seeing were we would be better off with out a solid replacement, were like 10-80 with out him.

I persoally don't care if you rob banks in your free time. I just need you to bring it every night, and every single player on this team is guilty of taken games off.

Eddy is the biggest waist in the NBA and get so little flack for it.
Some one showed curry at what ever camp he was suppsed to be training at, and all he showed was a look at the place. Never once did he mentioned what the hell he had been doing. walking around in baggy shirts, that dude is stupid. He could easily be the most dominate big man in the league, yet steph recieves all the bad press.

You kiding me right? You had to google it....the comments I'm making is coming from that same game. Why don't you post the main portion?

"Curry finished with two points in a season-low 4:41. Thomas did not commit to a lineup for the Knicks' next game, Sunday against the Bulls at the Garden, but he may want to reconsider.

Randolph, the Knicks' second leading scorer at 18.0 ppg and top rebounder at 10.3, sounded miffed at the demotion.

"I haven't come off the bench in six or seven years, so I was shocked," he said. "I don't plan on coming off no bench for the rest of the season."

The seventh-year power forward scoffed when asked if he thought he had to play his way back to the starting lineup.

"I didn't play my way out of it, I don't think," said Randolph.

Randolph, who entered when Curry picked up his second foul with 9:54 left in the first quarter, finished with 22 points and eight rebounds in 33 minutes to help the Knicks stick with the Magic for three quarters.

But starting the fourth quarter, Thomas sent Curry back onto the court. The Magic, which led 79-76 at the time, grabbed two offensive rebounds and scored twice in the paint with Curry doing nothing to stop them, to open an 88-78 lead."

When did Zach complain? Whn did he pull a marbs? He was in shock cuz he didn't deserve it and he did not deserve it. Then curry proceeds to show the world why Zach didnt deserve it.

Spin it the right way.

I would complain too if I found out I was going to be benched and Malik Rose would be getting time over me. Not too mention getting blamed for Curry playing with a lack of effort.

ight......I will be suprised Craw doesn't make the all-star team this season. He was great last year. His main thing is shot selection. I think with D'antoni here he will be better cuz the TEAM will have focus and he will begin to realize what's a good or bad shot.

His shot selection wasn't that bad last year. His biggest problem is driving to the hole. If he drives more than he would be taking higher percentage shots. The Knicks need to design more plays that he can come off screens. Which is another task with in itself because that means players have to be able to set good picks and not just go through the motions.

I dont know about that Eny. Make a list of the SG in the east: Vince, Ray Allen, Wade, Rip, Redd, Arenas, Joe Johnson etc.

I think H20 has more chances.
AllStar is not only for what you are this season but how you get there.

I heard steph say this evening that MDA allows players to go 1 on 5, if you feel you could make the shot...hmmmm

That's fair.....you can add iggy to the list as well with thad probably sliding to the 3.

You also named 7 possible playoff teams, with toronto being that 8th. Hey we'll see but I put Jamal Crawford up against any of those guys anyday. Arenas is allegedly a point guard anyway and is out. Maybe the Knicks can slide in and take the nets out, or maybe the wizards? I'm waiting for the Pistons to crash cuz they been together too long without any significant help added. The Bucks aren't neccisarily a lock either with the addition of Jefferson. Crawford has sentiment on his side. If the Knicks are hovering around .500 leading up into the break......he has a chance.

Aside from that, I believe Craw is in the same league as these guys. You can say any of these guys can destroy Craw but Craw can put it on any of these guys just the same.

Go ****ing Knicks!
