to see how MDA reacts when about half the team sits out of practice like they do most years. You will have pulled hamstrings, tired, flu, and an assortment of injuries. Will he punish them or make them practice. I am excited about seeing the exact same team come back after 25 wins last year. Marbury, Crawford, Richardson, Curry, and Zach will be the starters and you will see MDa spinning more than Sarah Palin did on the Katie Couric interview. Only 2 more days until the circus is back in town.

Is Curry just as out of shape as in the past? If so, why would MDA start him? That's just rewarding laziness. Lee and Zach would make more sense.

D'A has been coaching for 20 years. And successfully in the NBA and in Europe. He is sensible and handles people well. I'm giving him a chance. D'A and Walsh are not the Knicks of the past 6 years.

We say with this every new guy that comes in here but we just don't really now. We shouldn't be so quick to put blind trust into anyone anymore. Walsh and D'Antoni may have a track record but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to the Knicks. This has been a destination of failure for years and it will continue for the next few years with Waltoni around. I trust in Walshs' plan but I don't know if he will be able to accomplish it the way he is going.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

So Mark did you feel the same way about Larry Brown and he has accomplished ten times more than MDA. The bottom line if they play Steph, Curry, and Zach this year there is no way they will win 30 games

You know, this team may suck for the next few months ,even for most of the year but I have cofidence with this regime. I think we will get better as the year goes on and a year from now I guarantee things will be looking much better. They need time to fix this crap. How many times can we say PATIENCE!! We haven't even played a game yet and you want to condeme Walsh and D'Anonio. Some of you are so negative it really sucks.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

No I didn't like the Larry Brown hiring.

The question and your comment above don't refer to your present comment and question - to Stef, Curry, and Zach and winning 30 games. My answer replied to your saying the players will be faking injuries and/or not showing up to practice, etc. and D'A not being able to control the team. My comment is that I believe D'A will be able to control the team and won't take a lot of Sh*t! Before criticizing and castrating him, I'd like to see what he can do.

This team needed to be cleaned up. We gave Steph a clean slate, we drafted a kid that is a project. We still have Zach on the team, and Curry will still get to start even though he weighs 350. We will see next week how smooth things go

Absolutely agree king--we could go back and the samecats each year will say patience and 50 wins etc... Thye needed to be aggresive but we hired a man who's time has come and gone.

Listen, I hate this group of players with all my might but you people must be delusional to think that anyone wants Isiah's guys. Wait a while to see how things play out before you call Walsh a failure.

How do you know that Curry will start? did Mike say that? Why would he pencil-in curry without even seeing what other big men on the team can do?

King1 this sounds like you haven't watched MDA coach over the years at all! You know that he will eventually go with the guys that can run his system. I can see a scenario where SOME of the less athletic players come up lame but most of the guys on the team will be worked into the uptempo system a bit more easily. Anyone can pull a hammy, but that shouldn't be our focus. The process of changing this team over starts now even tho we still have guys that don't really fit where we're going.

This is a different coach and staff and they will use this same deck of cards much differently than we've seen from isiah or the disdain that Larry had.

You two were argueing like hell about the draft, and now you're just like little brothers. How cute.
