I want him to stay. He had a few looney moments but not too much.

He is missing a few things. He thinks he was a good teammate all along but in all said some genuine things and thats ok by me.

Funny he was posturing himself in boston already.

If he rocks the garden and does some heroics the crowd will love him. if not, he will leave.

Too much talk about "his" money.

Nalod is right, that him talking about his money is a little too much, and Marbury definitely is loony tunes, but those were some nice words. I hope he truely feels the way he speaks.

It's in his contract. He has every right to demand every penny and if the Knicks don't live up to their bargain, without Marbury's permission, he has every right to sue.

The sadder part is he is talking down to the fans and saying how he "knows what it feels like when the team used to lose when he was young" but what exactly is he talking about? Late 80's through 2000 we were a good team. What an idiot. Marbury is the figurehead of one of the worst rosters assembled together in franchise history. This is like nothing else. So no, he doesn't know what it feels like because we have never been this much of a laughingstock.

I think it's great that Stephon is continuing to evolve to higher and higher planes of consciousness. We should be supporting him in his journey, not quibbling about unimportant things like basketball and money.

Not exactly true. The Knicks were considered to be just as bad a laughingstock in the mid-80's. We went 24, 23, 24 in terms of wins for 3 consecutive years. Previous to that, the team was decent but some of our players had drug problems and were bad actors.

Everything old is new again! I don't know if Marbury really remembers those days though.

no one should expect these guys to do otherwise... none of us would in their place either... what's in a contract is what's in a contract, bottomline... if the Knicks don't want him anymore, Marbs is not under any obligation to take anything less than what's owed him... same goes for Zach or anyone else on this team... i don't know why anyone would think these guys would take a lesser buyout & do the Knicks any favors when they have no real reason to do so... feelings of guilt don't factor here... this is binness.
