I think Jerome is a no brainer. No way he should be collecting an NBA paycheck. Nice job Isiah. As for Marbs, for me it's a no brainer. I think he is such a detriment to the team and has been a major player in the controversy that caused two collapses in the last 3 years. This year with the buyout it's starting to go in a similar direction. But putting my personal feelings aside I understand the logic of trying to use his expiring as an asset. I understand the premise, just in Marbs case, with his history, I don't see it working out well for us, keeping this guy around. Unless he keeps his mouth shut no team will give us fair value for him.

Malik's a more valuable trade asset because his expiring matches a lot other contracts that we could possibly pursue... there are a very limited amount of maxed out players like Marbs who are even availabe on the market that we would any part of right now... plus his teammates can't stand him & he's a hugely negative presence on this team... the time to cut bait with him is long overdue.

Our 11-15 guys are not going to get much time anyway. May as well have veteran leadership in those spots.
