Yeah Playa, I love to see the Knicks suck like they do... some of us like to keep it real... and I call it like I see it... unfortunately as it applies to the New York Knicks.

While some of us see reality clearly, others remain blind, while sucking on the nipples of the establishment (in this case, the Scott LayDown & Co. company line).

Keep telling it like it is, Pike. At least a few of us keep it real every day all day.

...and it's a damn shame that the Knicks have no NY players, with all the players that this Mecca of basketball produces.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

... talk about New York being a mecca... think about it... with all the successful, bright people in New York... we import Scott Layden from Utah.

...and to add insult to injury, some "fans" are as backwards as LayDown is for thinking that he has some "master plan" that's gonna make the Knicks better. The pattern has been obvious, and it's been mentioned ad nauseum so there's no need to mention it again.

Instead of making the NYK something outta Utah(???), a real idea would be to bring more NY players here. IMO they'd play the hardest for the team they grew up watching and dreaming about.

...and before anyone plays themselves by saying that they'd "just get in trouble home in NY" (which is SO damn tired), knowing that they can bring NY a title would be incentive enough to keep them focused.

Playa, aren't you the one with the history of making those infamous grandiose crystal ball predictions? LOL

Maybe you should take your own advice and when you hit the Lotto YOU can buy the team.

When I hear toughness I think defense. The Knicks still have three very tough defenders in Thomas, Ward, and Anderson. I think some of the problem might be with what Chaney emphasizes. You had to be extremely talented to not be a good defender and play for JVG or Riley. Also, the only NY player that I think should be on the Knicks currently is Ron Artest. There is not a day that goes by in my life where I don't think at least once, the Knicks could have drafted Artest and Todd Mac Culloch. Also, I never thought Mase should have been traded for LJ.

Yeah, we should've had Artest from day one. Had we traded Spree for him, even I would've give given LayDown props for a stand-up move like that.

Nope. I would have liked Artest over Van Horn and given LayDown props for it. I sincerely believe it would have been a better trade (for NY).
