Apparently pretty much everyone has shown up in NY for early workouts. That includes ZBo, Curry and Gallo but no Steph yet.

http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/basketball/knicks/blog/2008/09/gangs_all_here.html

Zach Randolph arrived on Tuesday to join a majority of the roster that has come together this week to begin voluntary workouts to prep for training camp, which opens in two weeks. Z-Bo's presence was a bit of a surprise considering his name is very prominent in trade talks (that Memphis thing ain't dead yet) and there are many people -- himself included -- who never expected he'd still be a Knick when camp opened in Saratoga Springs on the 30th.

Credit Z-Bo for at least showing up (you still renting, right homey?). Stephon Marbury, the other name on the list of anticipated departees, hasn't come by as of yet to run with the rest of the crew. No word of a sneaker tour this year.

Yes, Gallo is here with the rest of the guys. Not playing, but here.

Yeah he needs to calm down.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I like Hahn's material most of the time, but he does not to chill with trying to prove he's "down."

At least Gallo is here now, as some were just asking.

I love Hahn's style, it always seems to be done tongue in cheek. I don't think he's trying to be Stephen A. or anything like that.

I'm just glad to see that pretty much everyone that matters is here, so we don't have to have a fresh round of "these guys don't care". I think the morale is gonna be thru the roof this year and there's something to be said for the enthusiasm that D'Antoni brings. Players just love to play his brand of ball and they tend to be more cooperative, so i'm looking forward to seeing this team grow and develop in this system.

I like his style. "Homey" is a stretch but at least he used it correctly and it fit the script.

Hahn understands what he's watching in practice as well. Remember him breaking down offense in one of his columns? Impressive. Nobody does that and what is the point of reporting on a sport if you aren't going to talk about what's happening from an x & o standpoint?

He's becoming my favorite reporter.

Everyone was supposed to show up Monday so Zach being a couple days late isnt too bad. The election has give Curry 3 electoral votes to himself since he is as big as New Hampshire for the upcoming election. I truly believe if we all have a group hug, that we can get this Zach Randolph trade done someday

So.... Is Gallinari unable to play due to his "rumored" back issue or is he holding out? I guess that shoots down the whole "saving face" theory.

I agree with 93Buick, my friends and page 2 on ESPN can use all the slang they want, but I want to hear about the team from reporters, save the "homey" stuff and just give me the info.

I think the talks are still going on, but they are making sure that there are no leaks this time. Walsh must have hated seeing their discussions being made public by the press.

he needs to start writing like Eny & use the word "caca" more often.

I guess. But it's weird because I seem to remember Walsh addressing the trade in the papers as well.

Yeah walsh confirmed the talks but in so many words he basically said he was annoyed people wanna talk about stuff they know nothing about. Check the article if you can find it.

I think what really ticked Walsh off were the articles out of Memphis that suggested they'd be crazy to do the trade LOL!

He wants to be able to take his time and make his deals on his terms, which i'm glad to see. There's no way to know when a deal will go down in this case, since he's gonna wait until the other teams call, even if that means waiting until the trade deadline.
