As for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, I don't support the Iraq war. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and I can agree they are there for oil for the most part. But there is no oil in Afghanistan. Have you ever seen what Afghanistan looks like? It's a gigantic pile of cap with mountains and weeds. There are no cities there or anything. USA went there to find Bin Laden and eliminate al Quaeda. They failed at both but I don't disagree with their decision on Afghanistan. It was a move that needed to be done at the time.

The occupation in afghanistan has mostly to do with the poppy drug trade than anything else.

Seems to me that, aside from an oil pipeline (and killing a bunch of people), about all we've accomplished in Afghanistan is increase poppy production to provide 2/3 of the world's heroin supply and those hundreds of billions of dollars being laundered throughout the global financial system.

Bin Laden is dead: the US knows it, and the rest of the world , except for those deluded souls who believe the corporate media, knows it.

So what could possibly happen is that some poor Afghani look alike is going to get arrested and murdered by US/Coalition forces before the end of this bush administration, so they can say we got him!
