Yeah man I'm tired of waiting......I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning or a kid waiting for their dead beat dad to finally come and see them. I'm tired of this waiting bull****!

Lets just make it unofficially officially unofficial.....

Darko is here and Zach isn't......what's next?!?!

None of us can. We just want this trade to be done because we can't stand Zach and I think Darko balances us out just a tad, if he's next to Eddie, who I think sucks for D'Antoni even more so than Zach.

Zach is not a bum but at the same time the Knicks already have a starter in David Lee and a future starter hopefully in Gallo......Darko fits in the mix and adds balance off the bench.

Let it be done already.

Regardless, it's still a good trade. The frontcourt is STILL a little more balanced and we can still see what can can get for Curry. I'm pretty sure D'Antoni is going to be screaming for Curry's departure after about a week at training camp.

Darko was on my fantasy team and he is inconsistent as hell. However he is a great shot blocker. Randolph and Curry average less than 1 block per game combined. Darko averages nearly 2. I don't see how we don't get better making this trade.

Why?

Because this is the guy the Knicks should be praying and clawing to get.....

I hope the hold up with this trade isn't over including one of those mediocre point guards. Nate is better than any point guard on Memphis!

Brandon Jennings, Rubio, or whoever breaks out in the future.....I'd take the short dude playing for Syracuse too. If Donnie wants to be patient, he should do so with his next move. This Memphis deal should be done already.

I see what your saying, but with Gallo and Lee waiting in the wings at pf, it makes more sense to move Zach and his hefty contract.

Good call Eny. At this point I'd have to agree with you. What's the hold up already?!? Get this done and let's move on. I was the biggest advocate of trying to squeeze the Grizz. for either Lowry or Crittenton but you're right, there are a lot of nice PG options coming out the next two drafts - Jonny Flynn from 'Cuse does looks good, esp. offensively - look for him to take the next step, and I like Brandon Jennings - gonna be intresting to see what kinda year he has over seas. This kid Jrue Holiday for UCLA looks like a hell of a prospect that can do it all at the point too. He should slide right into the Westbrook role for the Bruins (might actually be a better all-around talent than Westbrook to boot). Darren Collison will be right there in the middle of the first round next year, if not higher. Also will be interesting to see how guys like Stephen Curry and Ty Lawson develop.....

Gallinari is no where near ready to attempt to play the 4 in this league. I don't see his position in the league right now in the eastern conference. He is too weak to play the 4 and I don't think he is fast enough to play the 3. Curry should be the odd guy out. Randolph is the better player right now. I would start him at the 5 and Lee at the 4. Darko is a good backup for the 4 and 5 spot. This gives Gallinari an opportunity to put on some serious mass and get use to the NBA without having to go through serious growing pains. I don't think they are going give Lee his money so hopefully Gallinari can slip into Lee's spot. I don't want to lose Zack's rebounds and points.

i have to say the thought of D Lee & Darko banging bodies down low going after rebounds intrigues me... i think that could work out very nicely... & Darko will provide some badassness in terms of intensity to complement Eddy Curry's complete lack thereof when they're paired together.

not sure how Marko Jaric fits in tho considering the glut of G's we have on this roster already, unless Mardy is shipped off someplace, & MEM sure doesn't need anymore G's either.

I would expect that Jaric will be more valuable in D'Antoni's offense than Collins.

Should be very interesting to see if D'Antoni can do anything with Milicic on the offensive end. He is not the greatest of rebounders, by the way. Hopefully he can be a Camby type shot blocker who can occasionally hit a jumper and makes opponents think twice about going to the basket. Best case scenario and possible given his history IMO: 11 PPG, 6-7 RPG, 2+BPG, and 2 APG

Of course all of this depends on the trade actually being made.

6 rebounds in 24 mpg isn't all too shabby... in games where he had an extended run over 30 minutes he put up double digit rebounds several times last season... he's not as instinctual a rebounder as D Lee is but he'll at least be willing to mix it up to go get them, unlike Eddy who just grabs whatever falls right into his lap while he parks himself under the rim.

Bottom line......us fans want the trade. It makes so much sense as far as roster balance and depth. What the ****? Its retarded that the deal hasn't been made.

Btw, Jaric is what? 6'6"? 6'5"? The dude can shoot. He can be the back up shooting guard easy. D'antoni would put him in spots where he can make shots. Like Brent Barry hopefully.
