The men were dominant, don't be fooled by the last game, spain played the best ball they could possibly have played and they still lost by 11, and honestly had no real chance of ever taking over that game.. the previous game we played them we spanked them. We also spanked argentina and I don't care about senior nose(manu ginobili) not playing the whole game. The results would have been the same...

Next olympics, they are changing the lane to the NBA style lane instead of that funny trapezoid thing they have now( I guess that's what it is). I think it only gets easier now for team USA in the olympics for the future...

Everyone likes to clown the ladies game but they do everything the men do except jump out the gym. Their game is a little slower but you appreciate the pure basketball feel. The Skill level is increasing with every draft as far as the WNBA. They have greats at every position now except at point guard. The WNBA will get their flashy point guards soon enough......all you gotta do is catch some of these ladies in summer tournament play. Their are some future Isiah Thomas, Tim Hardaways, and cousys out there coming up. Some real magicians.

The mens game looks like NBA Live sometimes at the olumpic level. The guys are just too good individually. Every man on the court can take the ball up and score anywhere on the court with ease. Its silly almost. Them striving for gold is just a perfect example of how arrogant and out of touch out our young americans are. It takes Colangelo to take over and run it like a NBA franchise in order for it to work. They got rid of all the cry babies and brought in strong minded dudes and coaches they will actually use the NBA's elite instead of benching them.

Anyway, women rock....and I'm single looking to post up, box out and lay it up. Cha ching!

LOL.. what is this , a womans lib rally? this is nothing new, actually the WNBA was better when the comets had cynthia cooper and swoops, they were two of the best female players I have seen, other than cheryl miller... this is nothing new, womans baketball is what it is. All of this, "you appreciate the pure basketball feel" crap.. come on. The same thing happens in college and the NBA, guys pass, cut, shoot and box out in the nba.... There is nothing great about womans basketball, and this is not to clown them, I am just calling it like I see it. All of this wnba rah, rah crap is a little over the top.... NBDL and CBA still provides more basketball excitement than womans ball.

I agree to an extent. I hate when people say that thw womens game has a more "pure" bsketball feel as if the men are penalized because they can play above the rim. With that said, I do catch parts of WNBA games here and there and the talent level has increased over the years.

Anyway, congrats to the mens team. It was a good game, could have been better if not for the refs. Despite the score, and the competitiveness of Spain, I never got the feel that they would win the game. Wade continues to impress me. The things this guy can do at 6'4 is nothing short of remarkable. And Lebron is clearly the best all around player in the world.
