The Knicks have signed a two-year deal with Skidmore College to hold their training camp on campus, according to The Daily Gazette.

"We’re all set," said athletic director Gail Cummings-Danson. "It’s going to be terrific. The Knicks are excited about this, and so are we. I think it’s going to be a great relationship for both sides."

This year's camp is scheduled for Sept. 29 to Oct. 4.

The Knicks had held their training camp in Charleston, S.C., for the last 17 years, but reportedly wanted to move their camp closer to home.

Absolute gorgeous area. Skidmore was expensive back in 1986--it must be 45k to go to now.

personally i think they are going to do a lot of race betting.

parents live near this next of the NY woods. I may try to swing up that way IF the knicks organization opens up some of the practice time or whatever. Have to check into it.

Great idea.......it always annoyed me that they had training camp down in charleston. Plenty of beautiful places in NY state to choose from....and they chose a good one.
