AVC: Are you looking forward to the Knicks in a post-Isiah Thomas era?

WA: Well, I was looking forward to the Isiah Thomas era. [Laughs.] I don't think anything's going to happen. I think they're definitely going to be better. There's no question at this point, because there's been so much pressure on them to be better. I think Isiah came in and tried to make them better, but he was faced with a very, very difficult situation. It's not easy to just come in and take a team and simply make it better, and then the fans get impatient. You know it'll be wild enthusiasm at first, and then as soon as the results don't happen, the fans start to get impatient, and they want to tar and feather you. So he definitely tried. He came in and bought the players that logically would be exciting. As much as the fans got on [point guard Stephon] Marbury, they were thrilled to the nines when he joined the team. Everyone was excited, and I thought Isiah tried, but it was too tough to do, and I think [new coach] Mike D'Antoni is going to try, and I think with time and some sense, they'll gradually get better. But there's a difference between being better and being fun to watch. A workmanlike team that wins games is not necessarily a team that is fun to watch. What I'd like the Knicks to develop into is a team that's fun and that's colorful and that you really like to watch every night, which is the way they were many years ago. It was fun to watch them, because they didn't just pile up wins in unappealing ways.

AVC: Like the [San Antonio] Spurs.

WA: Yeah. I'd really rather be entertained and have them come in second than be bored stiff and see them grind to a first-place finish.

I agree with woody on all except the last statement... anyway, he made some good points about the knicks fans, how they were happy with most of Isiahs moves and then turned on him when they didn't work out. Pretty interesting comments..

She adopted her right but they were married.....

He helped raise her and as soon as she became of legal age bang he married her. He's a scum bucket and I wish they would stop showing his mug on MSG.

It was Mia's adopted daughter, that I thought Woody had nothing to do with, other than marrying her later. I know it still seems a little sick, but that's how I remember it. But look at them now. Aren't they happy together?

Oh, and didn't Mia lie about him molesting both of them when they were kids (son also)? I could understand the hurt and shock she must have went through.

Another thing also, is it too much different him divorcing Mia and marrying one of her friends? The only weirdness in this is that it was her adopted daughter. And I do remember them traveling as a family unit together, but it's not like he changed her diapers, or had to feed her. I mean even I' have a certain tolerance with something like that. And I think she was at least a teenager when they first met.

Maybe it was meant to happen, but just started off in a very awkward place. I wonder if Mia still thinks of her as her adopted daughter or 'the other women'? Stranger things have happened.

Question.......lets say you have a 13 year old daugther, and we met and became friends. If your daugther becomes 18 and runs off and marry's me, after you had me in your house, eating your food and interacting with your family thinking it was all gravy. How may holes would you poke into my flesh? Could you see me walking the earth and not try to destroy me?

What if you have kids and marry someone with kids......is it ok to divorce your wife for her brand spankin new 18 year old you helped raise?

Woody and Mia had three children during their relationship: Moses (adopted), Dylan (adopted) and Satchel (biological). And yes, custody battles were quite the controversial issue between the sparring and spurned exes.

Their story started in a most sordid way back in 1992 when Soon-Yi Previn’s mother, actress Mia Farrow, discovered that her partner of 12 years, Allen, had been having a sexual relationship with her then 21 year old adopted daughter. The revelation broke up the relationship and cause the severing of ties between mother and daughter.

So, Woody starts dating Mia when Soon-Yi is 10. Woody and Mia are still in a 12 year relationship, that includes parenting at least three children together, until she finds nude photos of her daughter in Woody's apartment.

Vincent Askew, formerly of the Seattle Supersonics, has been accused of having sex with a teenager he met at a local high school, according to NBC6.com.

"This incident began approximately three months ago when the subject befriended a 16-year-old female under the pretense that he was a Gulliver High School girls' basketball coach and he was going to recruit her for the basketball team," said Juan Villalba of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Askew played nine seasons in the NBA, making an appearance in the Finals with the Sonics in 1996.
