This is why the media sucks. Two different takes OF THE SAME INTERVIEW report two different versions as "facts"! One says Housless like the trade (the Post one) and the other says he's 'ambivelent'. Hell, they even use the same quotes to state their cases!!

Please note Housless' praise of Spree, tho, when he states: "He made a tremendous sacrifice for so many years going to small forward," Houston said. "I definitely appreciate that because I don't think I could've played small forward."

Yeah, it's funny that no teammate of Spree bashes him as selfish or any of the other nonsense you see on these forums or newspaper articles.

I've gotta say I agree it's funny how all of the different newspapers had different takes on the Houston interview. Did he like the trade or not? Was he distancing himself from the Knicks or not?

One thing I'm very amused with is how the columnists kept using the "structurally flawed" line.

Yeah, having a 6'5" SF is bad... but having piles and piles of tweener forwards isn't structurally flawed?!?! At least the Van Horn deal adds legit size--- he's taller than last year's starting center.

Excellent point on Allan "not being able to play SF" and how the players don't call Spree selfish like the senseless banter we see cats post up in here.
