Kevin Love had an effective Summer League but is considered by some to be a major injury waiting to happen. An NBA front-office source with a team who worked out Love described him as a "train wreck" physically, pointing to his surgically repaired knee as the biggest point of concern.

really who should care about that.. He was dominant in SL, so he is going to be great and better than any knick big... (rolling eyes)

I'm not sure about this. I read many reports of scouts raving about his conditioning and his athleticism during the workouts. Maybe it's sour grapes somewhere?

Gallo is going to put Love to shame, nba career wise. Love will be a serviceable nba starter but Gallo is truly going to turn into something special. Take that to the bank! =)

Gallo will be very special. He has skills, great potential and plays team basketball, something we haven't seen in years....maybe decades.

take it easy on the Gallo hype... the kid is only 19... he now't develop an NBA body until he is at least 25... that means temper your expectations on this kid for at least 5 years.

5 years? 5 years is more time than coaches are coaches and gm's are gm's.

What do you expect from a 19 year old???
It will take years for this kids body to fill out... he is still growing. Do not expect him to be anything but a glorified role player until he is 25.

Gallo is not that far from having an NBA body. 227 lbs is not small for a 6'10" forward. He has a nice frame & will probably add 10 lbs by November.

Wish Gallinari had Love's lower body from the knees (Or if this report is legit- from slightly above his knees.) to his belly. Would make a world of difference for Galo's rebounding and low post defense.
