He'll be a bench player who sill see spot duty from time to time. I dont see this signing as a big deal. He'll just fill out the roster.

My issue why don't he even try on defense. He seems content on just trading baskets. I see Phil Weber finally talking to him about it.

Exactly, that's all it is with some hope that he can score some points.

He is an instant offense type player who will come in during certain situations, and if his shot happens to be on that day he will get some minutes. He is obviously not a playmaker, and his D is below par, so if his shot isn't going in, he's going out. If he is going to hit his shots though, his shot selection has to be better than what I saw in the SL. Hopefully the Knicks can set some picks for him. He might also be a good practice player and help the Knicks improve their perimeter D.

why can't we just pluck the next starks and mason from the streets and turn this thing around

guys like that are plucked in the same manner in which Roberson is about to join this team... i don't think he's even close to what Starks was but this is how these guys get discovered... through SL tryouts & off CBA level teams during the season... this guy is set to make minimal dollars, it's a completely inconsequential move to this franchise 1 way or the other.

Gotta give the guy a bit more of a chance. He blew the doors off of practice. Obviously they see some way he fits. If someone better comes along he gets cut.

Whatever, we need some dudes who know that they need to bust their butt to get any minutes. All the other bench guys think that they've earned it already.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

The difference here is that roberson will be paid like a practice player, unlike some of the others..
