They have been rumored to be on the move, included in different trade scenarios that just haven't happened yet.
Of the three, Robinson seems to be the best fir for D'Antoni's system, but the fact that he is a shooting guard in a point guard's body still creates some uneasiness since the goal is to create a strong and balanced roster.
The new Knicks coach doesn't seem to be a huge fan of Lee, who would've been traded to the Grizzlies if not for his agent, sources say. And Collins has shown signs of becoming a solid player, but not one fit for the uptempo game D'Antoni wants the Knicks to play.
And now, with the rise of Wilson Chandler and the potential of Danilo Gallinari, theKnicks have their new saviors to build around.
So, what happens with this trio?
Fans talk less frequently about Lee, something extremely weird considering many considered him NY's MVP. Will he be traded just to trade Zach Randolph? If late reports are true, the Knicks may accomplish that goal without including Lee. And if he stays, is he the best fir to start PF once Randolph is traded?
Robinson is a great commodity because of the spark he gives off the bench. But he is such on a winning team, while the Knicks go through a rebuilding period. Should Nate be considered a keeper, even as a sixth man?
And Collins, well, many wish he was cut but his last season proved he can be a solid player off the bench. But does he fits?
They were once considered the future of the organization, one of them "untouchable" for many. Now, does anyone of them survives this season, or worse, this offseason?
