LOL, are you serious? What a corny ass nickname. The Thundercats show rules but for a professional team to use it as their name(I realize they're not taking it from the TV show) is stupid.

Whatever. I wish the worst on Oklahoma as long as Bennett owns that team. I always liked the Sonics and their colors/jerseys. Thundercats just sound like a biddy league team.

BTW I think this is just a joke. The Orlando summer league announcers started this by joking around and saying Thundercats was a good name so I doubt this has any truth.

Seattle started out as the Super Sonics so I guess it's only fitting. I don't know when they dropped the Super.
