Based on the chaos that the Brand-76ers signing has caused around the league would we postpone the Duhon signing?

I'd be tempted to do so.

Does Baron sign in LA now? He only VERBALLY committed.

The knicks need more western conference players who are hungry to play in the NBA finals.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

On ESPN First Take, they speculated that Davis could still back out of the verbal deal. They specultated about a sign and trade with NY. Randolph to the Clippers makes plenty of sense for them right about now.

Yeah, that was not too smart by Walsh. I was thinking a sign and trade that involves Randolph and Davis. Duhon can't be move now for some time but Lee/Randolph would be available.

With the amount of years that Davis got, I wouldn't want any part of a sign and trade that brought him here.

How are you going to attract big time players without likes guys like Davis. You think Lebron, Wade or whoever is going to run here because they can't wait to play with Duhon.

Who has come running to play with Baron in the past?

If we sign Baron, he hurts our cap for years to come.

Baron Davis will be on the wrong side of 30 in 2010 and he's got a serious history of injuries. no thanks.

I'd be trying to sign/trade Davis to Washington for Arenas if I were the Clips.

He'd be money out there. Washington doesn't need him anyway.

the only thing we can hope for at this point is that Gallo turns out to be good & our draft pick next season also turns out to be a good young player... we can't be killing any chance whatsoever of targetting a Lebron or D Wade by going after Baron Davis in a S&T... 1 killer contract on the books is plenty enough to worry about.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
