You and I have gone over this one before, but I really think if Pietrus gets some actual coaching, he could end up being pretty decent. Pietrus has a ton of raw talent, if Stan can find a way to get him to play then the Magic might have just made the best FA signing. Yeah I know theres alot of IF's in there, but I really do think he's got a shot to play well away from GS.

You better back up off me, G. You dont know me like that. We're fixin' to scrap if you dont knock it off, fam. I'm telling you Pietrus sucks and that should be the end of this discussion.

Pietrus, god this fool is sorry. I just cant tell you how many times I've seen ol' boy step out of bounds. The line doesnt CHANGE MAN! Then, he'll look at the ref with his big ass lips and hit a three. C'mon duke.

Off-the-charts, stupid.

You're always cool with me Seb. Unless you're talking about Pietrus... then it's on!

Well between Lee and Pietrus, one of them should develop into a decent SG. Considering they started Bogans, these moves are definite improvements. I am not sold on Pietrus, but I do agree that not have consistent playing time hurt him last year. As long as they sign him to a reasonable contract, I think it is a decent move. They, however, would have been better off getting Maggette.

I think its just the type of player they like in the back court. Defenders that can hit the three......Pietrus might me better than what they have.

as other teams in the east have two legitimate big men (boston, philly, toronto, detroit), orlando is trying to cause mismatches by moving their PF out to the 3 point line. with the pietrus signing, looks like orlando will be a nice regular season team but will fall short in the playoffs. their best bet is to trade hedo for a legitimate PF and move shard back to the 3.

zbo?

sigh. wishful thinking.

the balance of power is seriously shifting back east. Orlando, Philly, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Miami all have the potential to be powerhouses. that's 10 teams. we have no chance whatsoever of even sniffing the playoffs.

it won't matter either way: try or no try, we're gonna lose some serious games next year.

Zach for Hedo has been on my mind for a while but I don't think Orlando see's it that way. Zach can still hit bombs and even stretch it to three. Its his rebounding and inside scoring that would complete that team in my opinion. Zach and Howard would be a nice combo inside to match their already monster 3pt barrage.

Again I'm not a NBA gm.

Hedo > Zach as a player at this point and also not as problematic with attitude and contract.

Hedo>rashard lewis also.....they basically are the same player except Hedo can really pass and handle. Howard needed help inside and Orlando lacked the rythmn when it counted to knocks back 3pters....zach would have at least helped Howard and provided better spacing for the snipers.
