I'm just wondering if Serviceable is the best 2nd option? To me "good" would be better as a step down from "great".
There are so few great players that it's not very likely. I do believe he has a chance to be good tho. If he proves his doubters wrong and his speed is better than predicted he will be a very good NBA player. That's the only weakness anyone can have against him. |

moratorium on Gallo threads (especially polls) until he at least steps on the court, or finds Biggie. I'll make an exception for Pac, I guess.
My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.

Actually it's Gallis Pole. As in Led Zeppelin swiped it from Leadbelly and turned it into Gallows Pole.

Posted by majorleads: No disrespect to Leadbelly, but the hangman theme goes back a bit further (although Page & Plant did steal a heckuva lot of blues material). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Maid_Freed_from_the_Gallows https://

I already like the fact that he can shoot even better than they thought. It seems that the rumors of his maturity were true too. Man what's not to like about the kid? I see no reason for him not to have a good SL and hopefully a respectable rookie season.
He's not Kevin Durant, so I don't see any reason to predict anything ridiculous. How about a prediction that he'll have a rookie yr like Frye had? Frye's rookie yr wasn't bad at all. 12/6 in 24 mpg. That would seem reasonable. Anywhere around there hopefully a bit higher |

GOOD would be the term. I think Gallo will be good and we'll all have something to cheer about.
There's absolutely no chance that he sucks like Lampe. This guy is a far more accomplished prospect than any kid we've seen from Europe lately. I really don't understand how anyone can continue to deny that fact. NOTHING we've seen or read would give you the impression that this kid is not a legit prospect. |
