The guy is going to be a star no doubt about it. But he was never ours to be had. Thanks Isiah for not tanking.

It'a already taken place. I will tell you this Beasley will be the best player in the draft--not even close.

Not surprising. Rose is a good player, but definitely overrated.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't get any arguements on that.

Nice for SL. Meaningless for predictions. He's good, but lets wait and see if he will be the best of the draft.

You're right SL means only so much but you can see he is going to be an NBA superstar. He was taking it easy at Noah and Tyrus Thomas--he did misss some shots but 95% were right there--he could ve easily scored 40 if you want to believe it--in 22 minutes. This guy is hard to guard he's 6-9 240 and is very strong inside but also agile with the ball from the perimeter--vERY strong hands---teams will have big time trouble guarding him. I can see him averaging 30-10[or very close to it] 3-4 of his prime years in the nba--first year maybe 24-25 points 8-9 rebounds because he is going to play 40 minutes with the Heta and they cant send the ship at hime with a healthy wade and marion. I give the Knicks 33% credit for going after Chalmers--he looks very good really good defender who can score and dish--Miami paid 2mm+ 2 second rounders for him for the price we paid duhon 6mm maybe we shouldve just paid them 2.5 and the 2 2s.

This game just confirms what we already know. Summer League is like any other summer tourney. Bunch of college level guys trying to prove they got game. Beasley makes it look too easy. Can't wait to see him playing 82 games when the grind of it all would provide a good challenge for him.

Beasley can put up numbers, sure. No one ever questioned that. What people question is his heart and commitment. I'll believe the superstar talk when I see him exert effort on defense night-in, night-out. I mean, Zach Randolph puts up numbers too (not saying that Beasley is tas bad as Randolph, but let's wait and see before he automatically gets annointed "superstar.").

“He’s a great player on the pick-and-roll and he’s going to be someone who’ll be very tough to guard,” Noah said. “I mean, I was very impressed. He was very comfortable in everything that he wanted to do and he did a great job.”

He’s a great player,” Rose said. “He’s a force.”

he reminds me of zach randolph with a little bit more athleticism.. I think beasley will always be a good scorer, I wonder if he will be good enough in the other facets of his game(like passing) to really elevate his team.. the jury still has to be out on that one of course, but so far, all I have seen is a guy who is dedicated to shooting the damn ball.. LOL..

Similarities between Beas & Randolph:

-both African American
-both left handed
-both are forwards

Comps. end there dude.

When we give him props in game 1--we have to look at game 2--he was BRUTAL--a completely different player than the night before. Seemed disinterested sluggish--like it was too easy and they got into him with double teams that really kaboshed him today. On another note Chalmers is a sure-fire looking steal at 34 and Brook Lopez is NO stiff--the Nets got a VERY good player at 10--Charlotte is going to look stupid letting this guy go for a PG when they already had 1 and then they drafted another with a high 2? My bet is Augustine is NOT as good as Chalmers. Chalmers is VERY quick with the ball and very good on the D with a nice touch.

I think the Knicks really missed out they had a chance to change the face of their team and make a few deals.

No reason the Knicks shouldn't have tried to bring in both kids from Kansas in Chalmers and Arthur. They are both solid players that could have been had for nothing.

I still would look to move lee for the pg from spain in portland.
