Do you think theres any chance that they will risk going after Randolph?

Now believe me, I am one of the people who believes Zach really has no trade value and what loon GM would be interested in him, BUT Don Nelson is one guy that comes to mind as someone who thinks he can get what he needs out of Zach. The Warriors seem to be longing for a player that can score in the post, which is why they are going after Brand and I believe they will fail and with J'Oneal now traded the only other guy available seems to be Zach. Keep in mind, Nelson is probably retiring after this year.

So I propose, Zach Randolph/Nate Robinson for Al Harrington/resigned Pietrus to make the trade work.

Harrington doesn't seem to fit in with the Warriors and his contract only runs 2 more year. Pietrus is someone who I think has severely underperformed but maybe D'antoni can get something out of him. We throw in Nate since he seems like exactly the player that Don Nelson loves as well. Again, I think the Warriors are desperate enough for a player with Zach's offensive skills ESPECIALLY with Don Nelson possibly retiring after this year, I can see him having all eggs in the basket for one last run.

Am I crazy?

Zach's value will increase as free agency dries up and teams feel slighted that they missed out on their top targets. I'd love to trade him outright for a pick to a team that can just absorb his contract (GS or Philly).

they are under the cap! We don't have match #'s. They can probably send us a second round pick for him!

Its possible, Golden State is notorious for their inept front office. Since the '90s they've consistently been one of the worst organizations in sports.

BTW, Pietres sucks. Exceptionally low b-ball IQ

I said that! I totally agree with you though, he was touted as being the "French Jordan" and has done nothing to even be the French Harold Miner. I do feel he has a ton of good basketball skills, especially offensively. I watched him alot this past year, I don't get how he's not a better player. My hope is that since D'Antoni is such a good offensive coach, Pietrus could hone his game. Just a thought.

My bad g-funk. Yeah, I think you're proposal is actually quite reasonable. Could see it happening in some form; although I think you might have to insert Chandler in the place of Robinson. Nate might be a hard sell if Monta is still on the roster.

Pietrus would certainly put D'Antoni's offensive genius tag to the test. He's as raw and as unfulfilled as they come.

if Walsh somehow figures out a way to trade Zach w/o taking on equally bad salary in return he should be named GM of the Year.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I'll do whatever it takes. Would love to somehow get a resigned Ellis in the deal, but I know that won't happen and I'm just getting REALLY REALLY greedy.

If anybody wants Zach Donnie has to trade him for whoever posts the best deal.

I don't understand why GS would want Elton Brand. I also can't see Brand leaving the Clippers especially with Baron there now.

Zach Randolph is still a good player. He has a spot next to Stephen Jackson waiting for him. Monta Ellis should still be signed. They would not be terribly off track......whatever man I just want Donnie to make a ****in move already.
