After meeting with the Knicks today, Bulls free-agent point guard Chris Duhon is on to Orlando to meet with the Magic tomorrow. He was contacted by five teams on the first day of free agency: Cleveland, Sacramento, New York, Orlando and, in a bit of a surprise, Boston. The re-signing of Udrih should eliminate the Kings. Keep an eye on Duhon's dinner plans -- he could be meeting up with some current Magic players tomorrow. Players only get involved in free-agent recruitment when teams are truly serious about signing them.

I wouldn't be made if Orlando signed him to be honest but I thought Orlando was after Magz and they are over the cap. What gives?

yeah, i heard the Magic were going to be offering Maggette the full MLE. maybe they plan to offer Duhon the LLE? no income tax in floria and lots of college girls to party with.


also, if the knicks get Duhon - look at the level of teams contacting him: Cleveland, Boston, Orlando. i think it's safe to say he's more than a scrub in the views of those teams. that's the top three teams in the east contacting Duhon on the first day of free agency.

I think the only way we get him is if we garuntee him a starting position which would be just fine by me

In orlando he is Jameers back up.

Im sure JJ will feed him. They are Dukies.

Duhan would get big minutes here unless Marbury is resurected big time.

In D'antoni's system Duhan could emerge and get a bigger contract in two years either by us or from another team as his value would increase.

He should do his homework and visit all who show interest.

I suppose he would be taking Doolings spot?
