Does anyone else find grown men intro'ing themselves as "New Members" hilarious??? Maybe my humor never got past the Beavis & Butthead level of sophistication but I would choose my words more carefully in a public forum

haha. When new users sign up their status is locked so we can verify an email to them. In our intro email we ask them to create a "new user" thread. it's fun!

I'd much rather be a "user" than a "Member" though...but hey to each his own :-)

How come when I signed up, I was never asked to create a "new use" thread?

I think it's funny too. I also thought "Member's only " jackets were funny.
