Supposedly they want to dump him A.S.A.P.

He's another soft 3/4 who's available may just be what the doctor ordered for D'Antonio Davis' system. He's scored close to 50pts in a game before. I can't tell you anything he does defensively but hey who cares he fits.

i said this would be a prime target once d'antoni was hired. lee for charlie v makes sense for both teams.

We'd lose rebounding and get some offense. It wouldn't help or hurt much. If we could throw in Nate and get them to throw in Sessions, I'd like it much better.

Lee for Charlie V is a steal.....

You guys are not the supreme fan that I am of Charlie V......if the Knicks get this guy and trade Zach some how? Charlie V is gonna be famous......he's gonna be a star. He can score and yes he can rebound so stop whimpering. His passing is great for a dude his size. His run and jump ability is right there with Lee.

Stop worring about defense......the dude is a good help/weak side defender.

This trade needs to go down, like last year. Mark my words man Charlie will be a star playing for D'antoni.

I wouldn't mind adding Charlie V, although I don't think we should have to give up Lee to get him. I think Milwaukee has had enough of him and Lee actually has had 2 better years the previous 2 years. I believe Lee/Balkman for Charlie/Sesssions is a more balanced trade.

I'd still prefer to use Lee as trade bait for Felton or Hinrich.

Lee is useless on defense and in a half court offense. Why would Skiles like him any more than CV?

Lee needs to go to a good team that needs rebounding and energy not a rebuilding team that needs skilled players. That's why the Knicks can afford to get rid of him.

I want to save Lee for acquiring a PG or keep him on the squad. Lee would excel in a transition game, he has good hops and athleticism.

whiney, redundant, bashing threads like this have become commonplace all of a sudden... All I have to say, is that this is really sad. We are now discovering new ways to whine and bash over and over again.... wow..

I get it, you don't like D'antoni or the pick. Time to move on..

Me neither TMS. We just drafted a shooting foward. Now we need to focus on solidifying our frontcourt, and figuring out what we want to do with our backcourt. Do we want to keep Nate and Jamal? Are we buying out Zach? Or keeping him around?

Charlie V does not make us better.

if we can't get a PG using Lee as trade bait, then i say we should focus on seeing if DEN might be interested in a Camby for Lee swap... or maybe use Lee in a package for Marion or Josh Smith (though those latter options are much more of a stretch obviously)... if we're going to trade D Lee let it at least address 1 of our main needs... i don't wanna trade him for another repetitive player that doesn't address our team balance issues.

Villaneuva and Gallinari have similar skillsets. Lee is a better fit with the current roster.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I agree, but not sure about a 1000 y/o Camby. How much more can he have in the tank?

Dan Gadzuric/Charlie Villanueva

Jamal Crawford/Wilson Changler

I think you could get the Buck to do this deal. Everyone loves Chandler for some reason he looks lost playing defense and we don't need another player that can't play defense. Balkman can backup whoever while the Italian and Charlie bomb away.

And you can still move lee, getting crawford off the team helps more than you could have any idea.

Amen to that. You should post your comments from RGM here about the whining.

Seems like you can get Tinsley and Charlie V for next to nothing.

That would pretty much solidify the rotation.

Charlie
Italian Job
Chandler
Craw
Tinsley

That'd be fun to watch
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Charlie V? No thanks. The guy has regressed every year he's been in the league. Another player who's far better in theory than in practice.
