Saw this in the daily news today.......it was in the notes for the mets/yanks coverage (Gallinari threw out the first pitch yesterday)......

Actual quote on page 44 of the news today: "Gallanari is living near times square, and will remain in the city to work out with the Knicks until leaving to play in Europe July 10."

Anybody know what that's all about?

Yeah, he will play for the Italian national team for some European qualifiers thru the end of August.

I heard he was playing in the summer league also..

And what if Gallinari is completely embarrassed by Team U.S.A. with LeBron jumping over him for a dunk, will you be happy or sad?

The odds of that happening are a hell of a lot greater than the other scenario.

Id rather he play summer league. The Olympics they play European rules, I don't think that is going to help him get more ready for the NBA even with the competition.
