I"m satisfied with the draft move, but I still would have taken a center. Oh well. One step at a time.

Point guard is next. We should try for Paul next year. It's his last and 'qualifying offer' year. It would be perfect. starbury is gone at the same time.

Once we fix the point situation, then we can concentrate on big men for the next two years. Especially since curry and zach will be up for elimination soon.

Dwight Howard?

And I don't think we have to use Lee in any trade right now. LIke I said. According to plan and it looks like Donnie's taking his time to do it right. LOL
I'll never trust this' team again.

u been MIA lately, what gives?

so u wanted Brooke Lopez at #6?

sorry to say we have no shot at Chris Paul next season unless we get rid of Zach, Curry & Jefferies for expirings now, which is pretty much impossible.

I thought the plan was to draft a small forward every year.

Too much negativity on the brain. Had to get away for awhile. Plus I don't think it's worth arguing over stuff none of us have no control over.

Anyway, I originally wanted Lopez and then changed it to Koufos, who went 23rd. I still say at 7'-1", 19 years old, with great shooting ability, this kid has a lot of potential. I felt the same way about Bynum, who we also passed on.

Brook of course went 10th, across the Hudson and I attribute that to the fact that the media made a big deal out of his last' few practices for NBA coaches/GM's. His brother Robin, who I thought could be better than Brook overall one day, made it all the way down to 15th. Not bad. My fixation was on a center first, because basically we have none and haven't had one since Ewing's departure. I feel we passed on another opportunity here.

As far as forwards? I would have taken Joe Alexander. But I think we made out okay with the Italian kid. Most writers I read, seem to think so.

Good talking to ya again TMS.
I'll never trust this' team again.

i hear u on the potential aspect but i think the Knicks wanted a guy who they felt could come in & contribute relatively quickly... of all the kids available at #6 i think Gallinari is just as NBA ready as anyone we coulda got because of the competition he was going up against overseas... i know Donnie came out & said not to expect things right away from this kid but i think he just said that so the press puts less expectations on this kid... i happen to think he's gonna come in & be a nice player for us off the bat, maybe not a starter but he will play a significant role on this team in his first season... just MHO.
