It might not be a good idea to do this again (we have had horrible success with the mid level......)

But just curious... Who/What are the options?

almost every mle signing around the league winds up being a bust. the mle is a trick to get mediocre players more money than they deserve.

NO to the MLE. We have enough players. The main thing is to figure out who can play in this system and who can't. We already have 3 pg, 2 sg, 4 SF, 3 pf, and 2 centers, with an open roster spot. We don't need a MLE signing. We need to probably pick up another rookie prospect and then focus on figuring out who can actually play in the new system.

Raja Bell, Chauncy Billups, McDyess, Grant Hill (LLE), Abdur Rahim... I think if your smart you can get a good player

Raja Bell, Chauncy Billups, McDyess, Grant Hill (LLE), Abdur Rahim... I think if your smart you can get a good player

Raja Bell has this year & next year left on his contract... so does Antonio McDyess & Shareef Abdur Rahim (not sure why u'd want that guy)

best FA's out there that may potentially be had for the MLE are Ron Artest (very sketchy chances at best), Josh Childress, James Posey (player option), Mikael Pietrus & JR Smith.

i think more realistic options are guys like Sasha Vujacic, Chris Duhon, Eddie House, Sam Cassell, Matt Barnes, Kareem Rush, Ricky Davis, Sebastian Telfair, Jannergo Pargo, Carlos Arroyo, Louis Williams, Delonte West & Beno Udrih.

you misunderstood. I wasnt saying to get those guys, rather that they were all signed as MLE. Some dont want to use the MLE because they think its a waste. My only point was that some very good players were scooped up with the MLE, thus the examples
