Do you get air miles for each new thread you start on the same tired subjects you've already made your position clear on?

pretty impressive for a 19 year old kid playing against the same level of competition that destroyed our NBA olympic team.

Wow, now every team in the Italian League is stronger than the US Olympic Team.

It's insane the lengths that some people will go to.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Euroeague play is the toughest, thats where the funded stacked teams are. Its the Italian league (which he played at an even higher level) that your talking about.

Meanwhile Anthony Randolph can pad his stats against the Chaminade Silverswords and Ole' Miss but he's a better prospect despite the fact that he dribbles off his foot and cant bench 150 lbs

please

Those are pretty pedestrian numbers. If that supposedly dominated his league, it doesn't say much about the league.

chime in with something usefull Mr. lets trade Zach for Carmelo. Who was the BPA? You wanted a 6'2 shooting guard that chucked for 42% in CBB? Feel free to add to this anytime. I know thats a stretch for you

Euroleague comp is probably a bit better than NCAA. These are well coached professionals making real money. Its not the NBA, but for 11 games as a 19 year old, those numbers don't say a heckuva lot in either direction to me.

fishmike if I dropped off a second round pick on Gallinari's Euro team--lets say DJ white--what do you think he would average with 32 minute sof PT? My gut tells me just a tad better than 14-4 42%

You got it Mr. Indiana should trade for Max Cap Space to help them rebuild. Because chucking for 42% in the Italian league is really impressive?

Do you? It's the land of nBA rejects and slow European basketball players. Oh yeah here is what they said about the other great Italian player Andrea Bargnani

ahem

They said his upside and potential were off the charts,” and went on to continue, “they said, ‘Out of all the athletes we’ve profiled, we’ve never seen anything like this.’”

Go ahead read it--the *pro* scouts basically said he was an awesome superstar in waiting--you see the problem is they are making these projections against such inferior talent to what is waiting for these players in the NBA--that is why there is such a HUGE HUGE bust rate. Everyone is the next Dirk yet I have seen anyone close in 10 years---believe me Bargnani scouting report sounds like he is the second coming--what they are now calling Gallinari---you know what short selling is--no your 19 years old--its'w ehn someone sees bloated value and bets against it --there is nothing wrong with it---I think it's very reasonable to scrutinize this pick at this point--stiff legs 42% shooting and all

Who? Didn't Langdon light up the NCAA too, Mr. America? The 2 previous MVP's are Greeks that I know well. Diamantidis can come in right now and start for an NBA team. He's Tayshaun Prince. Papaloukas is the Greek Steve Nash. Most of these guys stay in Europe because they get more money and guaranteed playing time that they wont in the USA.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Land of NBA rejects? The hell are you talking about? You have no clue about Euro ball. I watch it regularly and it has nothing to do with rejects. There is a reason Euro teams beat our teams (sometimes) and there is an even bigger reason the USA team was being outworked in the Olympics these last 4-5 years. Europe is not for rejects and slow Euro players.

Bargnani is your only example? What about Gasol, Biedrins, Peja, Dirk, and so many more I can't even think of?

Bargnani in Italy wasn't near the same player Gallinari is now. He simply isn't.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
