Randolph to Toronto for Bargnani, Kapono, and Anthony Parker.
Knicks get: - out of Randolphs contract (3 more years at 13.3 million) - since all of the returning contracts will be off the books by summer 2010, the Knicks can go after Lebron et al. - 3 point shooting from all three of them (last yr)[Bargnani (.345), Kapono(.483), and Anthony Parker(.438)] - Bargnani is a much better fit for DAntoni's system than Randolph is and he only has 1 yr at 5 mil left. Imagine the match up problems if the Knicks can put DG at sf and Bargnani at pf on the perimeter at the same time. - Bargnani can help Gallinari adjust to the NBA in his native tounge
Toronto gets: -A sick frontcourt rotation in Bosh, ONeil, and Randolph. - Some value for Parker, a Euroleague legend, who is rumored to be signing with a Greek team for 3 yrs 21 mil. So chances are he wont even play in North America, and the last yr of his contract will just be useful for the cap. -The team has soured on Bargnani as evident by the ONeil trade - Out of Kaponos contract (2 yrs about 5.5 per)
