you want to see the team win you want improvement, you want excitement, even if it means you have to disagree with management.
All management cares about is cashing checks, and we should be the loyal Saps that pay for it.

My disagreement with Scott LayDown and the backwards idiots masquerading as Knicks management is EXACTLY what makes me a true fan. I don't have to bend over and take whatever the status quo happens to be. If they make a bad move, it doesn't just look good because it's my team screwing up.

Most "fans" are too damn fickle to even establish and stick by an opinion. Those same ones believe everyone should be blind robots like they are and not question management when they continue to cripple the integrity of the team we love to root for.

We all love the team, but, like normal human beings, everyone's got a different view on how to solve the problems.

But everyone agrees that
A. Houston got way too much money on that deal, making Spree the more tradeable player,
B. A lot of teams weren't beating the door down to get Spree,
C. We were small,
and
D. We could use another GM.

I'll tell you one thing, Ibleed. Live outside of NY long enough, where people spit on the Knicks all the time, and you develop a kind of rabid love for the team. I still would like changes made in management, as do many here. But my love for the NYK goes back to 1980. I gots love. I think the immediate 'I hate the Knicks I'm never watching another game I'm gonna boycott Sal's Famous I'm gonna be a Net fan' stuff is just emotions. When the season starts, we'll have a place to channel that hatred - Into the opponent.

Things will get better sooner or later. If a decline in ticket sales is the thing that starts it, then c'est la vie.

But just so you know, I gots love. And even those who say they 'hate' wouldn't be spending their time typing all that hate mail if they didn't really 'love'.
