I don't necessarily want to trade Lee. In fact, I'd rather keep him, but it seems the organization is cutting ties already with them having corporate mouth piece Gus Johnson inform us he doesn't fit. (He doesn't fit? Really? Because he plays with heart occassionally? Fuck this team.)

Anyway, what can we get for DLee this summer, since they clearly want to trade him?

Here's what I got so far:

Memphis - Memphis had interest in DLee and may have a bit of a glut at guard now with Mayo in the fold. Lee gives them a surefire rebounder to pair with Rudy Gay and some certainty at PF next to Marc Gasol.

Warrick and Lowry for Dlee

Seattle: With Westbrook in the fold, they can seemingly ship one of their two pgs. They also supposedly hate Wilcox, so we can take a flier on him for Malik, they have identical contracts.

Earl Watson + Wilcox for DLee + Malik

or

Ridnour + Wilcox for DLee + Malik

I don't know what else, this is kind of depressing. Fucking Gallinari. Unbelievable.

I think Crawford needs to be moved as well. And Curry ought to find a new home.

There's no way we can move Curry until he shows something next season.

Crawford, at this point is kind of our best player. I'd search for something for him, maybe an ending contract and a few draft picks. We'll see though. I don't think those guys move though.

whatever deal we do for David Lee, we better get back a first round draft pick as well.

The Knicks definitely need to move Crawford - an undersized streaky shooting SG will not get you a championship.

I agree - its time to go for draft picks and start stock piling assets. My guess is even if Lebron bolts from Cleveland, it will be in a S+T - he won't leave them with nothing to show for it, he loves Cleveland too much.

I don't agree in going with cap space, I think you trade for some solid players and picks and stockpile them for a blockbuster trade like the Celtics did.
