i know the rumor is the Knicks are looking to deal D Lee but i have to believe they'd much rather unload Zach's contract instead.

anyone think the Zach to MIL trade can be explored again? Zach for Simmons & Gadzuric would leave us w/$10 mil in cap space in 2010... maybe you can milk a 2nd rd. pick outta the deal also for cash considerations... seems to me MIL's focus has changed since the last time that deal was nixed... their team seems to be aiming to make the playoffs this season & aren't afraid to take on longterm salary to do it judging by their move to acquire RJ... Zach along w/Bogut, RJ, Redd & Mo Will is a good enough roster to get them to the playoffs next year w/o question.

this would allow the Knicks to hold onto Lee & unload Zach's negative influence & albatross contract... also adds a more capable backup C than Turd who can be effective in an uptempo style in Gadz... he can also block a few shots for u from the weakside.

if u want u can also sign a Sasha Vujacic to a portion of the MLE to be your 2nd team backcourt mate w/Nate & buyout Turd (his contract doesn't effect our 2010 cap anyways & he's untradeable)

C - Curry / Gadz / Jeffish
PF - Lee / Gallinari / Malik
SF - Chandler / Balkman / Simmons
SG - Jamal / Sasha / Q Rich
PG - Marbury / Nate / Mardy

Simmons was traded with Yi to Jersey so no that trade can't be revisited!

Zach, Balkman & Nate for Ramon Sessions, Desmond Mason, Dan Gadzuric & Charlie Bell

then sign Sasha to portion of MLE

TMS, I don't know about any deal with Zach going to Milwaukee. The only reason he wasn't traded there already is because their owner opposed the deal because he didn't want Zach as part of the franchise. I can't see why he'd change that now.

i think their mentality might have changed now w/this RJ trade... looks to me like they're trying to make the potseason & taking on dollars isn't as much of a concern... just a thought... any other options out there? i still don't see the CLE one as a viable option... DEN for KMart is still a possibility IMHO but not much else.

I was talking about Zach to the Bucks in the Rich jefferson trade thread.

Here's an idea:

Zach for Charlie V, Desmond Mason and Dan Gadzuric

You wanna talk uptempo and being a D'antoni player? Charlie is that guy. He has this tag on him but how can a true do it all guy be Tim Thomas. Tim Tomas used to average 5 boards a game and no blocks at 6'10". Charlie is not Tim Thomas.

Gadzuric is a gazelle. He's probably the fastest Center in the league and he has a psychotic motor. He needs to be set free to run cuz that's his strength.

Desmond Mason could make the team or not, but he also is made for a more open game.

This is what I would do if the Bucks bit. Its a perfect scenerio. Like I said in the other thread....Zach, Rich Jefferson, and Redd is a respectable "Big 3".

The trade is perfect for both teams.

Zach is a power fwd, Rich is a small fwd, and redd is a shooting guard. Bogut doesn't wanna shoot. They have Mo who can shoot and Sessions who is a nice real pass first guard. That team would be a handful and with Skiles, they should be back in the playoffs.

Knicks get a more skilled and uptempo friendly. Its perfect.

Add the rumor for felton to this and it makes a lot of sense.
