Just so you know, certain stereotypes are often maligned, but typically true. However, although you have pointed out some thoughts that I may or may not agree with, that IS NOT what I believe to be the risk factor.

My reasoning behind this plea is quite simple. We have seen several other draftees slated to go in the top 6; that are projected to be dynamic NBA player types. That's what we need! Has anyone on these boards ever seen Danilo? Have you seen enough of him to gain an idea on the type of player he is or what he'll become? From what I hear, he plays like Hedo Turkoglu! Would anyone ever select Hedo over Monta Ellis, Gilbert Arenas or Dwayne Wade now? I know I wouldn't.. That is the risk! I could care less about him being an Italian or whatever background any player we select.. that is not my point. My point is simple.. I want our pick at #6 to be NICE! Danilo, he is too much of an uncertainty! This pick is extremely critical in shaping the direction of this franchise.. I say go with what you know. Why, because that is the most logical way in selecting our next player to wear a NYK jersey. I can name at least 3 NCAA players that I know are official on the court, based on familiarility. Westbrook, Bayless and Gordon (Who might be better than alot of picks on the board going 3-6) Those highlighted names are who we are potentially missing out on by taking Danilo.
