Isles is going to say he was napping, and although I trust Walsh to do the right thing, I would think we'd be in the market to add another pick, given how bad the team is.

Perhaps he doesn't feel that low a pick, or a similarly late pick would amount to much of a player.

But, has he looked at his roster? I'd rather have pick 27 on the roster as opposed to JJ1. At least whoever gets picked at 27 has a legit chance of becoming an NBA starter, which is more than we can say for JJ1.

Or perhaps given that he was hired at the end of the season, he hasn't done the kind of prep work you would need to best make this kind of pick where you might pick a euro to stash overseas. But why not let Isiah make the pick? He has done well with late round picks, and still, even if you take anybody, that anybody is better than some players on the roster.

I don't understand that as well. Same thing happened the past few years with the Suns trading their picks for "cash ocnsiderations". You'd think that we should be the first one asking about things like that, and that we could offer more than the other teams.

What's going on behind those cash deals ?
