If Miami takes anyone other than Mayo they have a trade worked. Problem is Mayo may not drop past Minny. I really think if we want Mayo, we need to get the #3 pick and that is a trade that we can't announce until Miami picks whoever for whoever they are gonna trade with.

I'd really have to consider throwing the bank at Minny. Maybe make the Lee for the 5 trade and offer Minny Curry, the 5, Nate, and Balkman for the 3, Walker(T. Option after this year.), a resigned Craig Smith and a future 2nd.

With the 6, you can trade down and Toronto:

Zach and Q and the 6 for TJ Ford, Rasho, A.Parker and Joey Graham. and the 17.

Seriously, Zach kind of compliments Bosh, no? Isn't Bosh a more of a face up on the wing, perimeter oriented big, while Zach will do the dirty work(or rebounding) down low? Plus it accomplishes the goal of using the pick 6 to get rid of Zach.

no, i think you have the same issues with bosh/zach that you did with eddy/zach.

you can't have two big men that will demand touches. what makes the rumored jermaine deal work for toronto is that he'll clearly take a back seat to bosh while still providing defense, rebounding and shot blocking to protect him. zach doesn't provide that for the raps...but he does provide this:

I know stuff can change later but this is a deal where I would say take it or leave it. I mean Toronto can get the 6 and get a really good player.

ford would be going in the deal for jermaine.

#1, i just don't see any atlantic gm doing business with each other.
#2, raptors are not going to spend $50 mil on zach
#3, colangelo values chemistry and good lockerroom presences, something zach is not

i think zach's trade value is as bad as you can get in the nba right now. you're not going to be able to get rid of him...not just to toronto, but anywhere. that's why the knicks should trade curry.

Bosh/Curry could work... not sure I would deal Curry for TJ Ford

i still think the only way MIA is gonna land Mayo is if they pick him at the #2 slot... otherwise either MIN or another team IS going to trade up to take him at #3... the Knicks have already been rumored to have had talks about doing just that... if MIA decides to try & get cute & trades down to #4 or #5, they're gonna end up losing Mayo.
