Sources say the Knicks (Eddy Curry or Zach Randolph), Pacers (Jermaine O'Neal) and Suns (Boris Diaw) have had some casual conversation with the Raptors concerning T.J. Ford.

JO, Eddy, Zach, or Boris? That's not a very hard choice for Toronto! It's either trade for JO or keep TJ

it's not as easy as it sounds because O'Niel isn't as what he once was ... he's more of a jumpshooter and he's not good at it. not to mention he's always injured.

i hate Curry but he'll give the Raptors an inside presence that the Raptors lack.

DJ if either of those Knicks-Raps trades goes through.

I think Curry would be good for the Raps, but I don't want any part of TJ Ford. Dude scares me that he is going to break.

Couldn't "casual conversation" mean that Walsh mentioned to BC a Zeddy for TJ swap and BC just said "yeah, sure, whatever old man"

For Randolph I'd be willing to drive his stupid ass to Toronto to make sure he left town.

For Curry, I'm hesitant. Curry can rehab his trade value next year and there's a chance he would opt out.

You're getting angry just thinking about it, aren't you?

agreed. i actually think curry may even turn into a player we want to keep under D'antoni. we'll see though. at the least, i think he can be a player with some trade value by the trade deadline or next summer.

I wouldn't go that far. Curry still needs to go one way or another. He's too much of a liability on defense and on the boards. But he's a good post player when coddled and some team will look to pair him with an athletic PF who can cover for his deficiencies.

I'll supply Curry with lifetime $5.00 gift certificates from McDonald's if we could make it happen.

I would take care of all of Zach's Hoops Family Cartel operations if we could make it happen.

JO's still a force on defense unlike all those other players and his scoring is good enough and he has a much shorter contract than Zach or Eddy. The injuries are a good point, though, but I still think that's outweighed by the contract differences and JO's defense. A healthy JO in the playoffs could help them much more than Eddy or Zach could.
