If we are going to take a risky pick, we might as well take the risk on someone that has played here for awhile, and that's Anthony Randolph. At least he has the seemingly higher ceiling and can get up there and block shots.

With Galinari, you still have no clue how his game is. Heck, even Galinari doesn't know. There was an interview with him and the guy asked what his strengths were, and Galinari said, basically, that whatever coaches tell him, is his strength. Humble is good, but being unsure of yourself is NOT good. Sounds like Keith Van Horn to me, in good ways and bad.

Another thing you HAVE to take into account is the number of European failures in the last 5 years. They far exceed the success stories, and I don't think any of them have won a championship at this point, in the NBA.

Do the Memphis deal, except maybe see if you can give them someone else other than Lee, take Alexander, and then try to take either Westbrook or Anthony Randolph. Yeah, Randolph is way risky, but at least it's something you can understand why the risk is being taken. A potential star big man who can block shots and hopefully play the team game. I just don't wanna pass up on that.

He's from Argentina. And I think the Spurs saw something exceptional in him. Do you remember when he destroyed us in the Olympics back in 2004?

Fish and Martin are going to need better reasons than that.

I believe they both want to know EXACTLY what you've seen in his games that you don't like. That goes for anybody who doesn't want anything to do with Gallinari.

You may have no clue about his game, but if they take him, I'm sure Walsh will.

And upside doesn't only = vertical jump. Maybe they take Gallinari b/c he's way more skilled than AR, can shoot better, pass better, won't get pushed around, has a higher bball IQ etc.

Isles, let's get this straight, at least AllanDoucheFan has put some reasons why he would take another player over Gallinari, you haven't added an iota as to why you don't like him, and to that I ask WHY and HOW did you come to the conclusion that he is a bust.

Gallinari is an excellent player but drafting him does represent a future problem, he plays the same position as LeBron.

LeBron, Dwyane and Bosh are the three big fish in 2010/2011, drafting guards or pf or c is not a problem with LeBron, Wade or Bosh. Aren't we looking at them to take us over the hump with the roster of that time?

Hey knicksbabyyeah, make your pick in the mock draft already.

And what reasons were those?? That he has no clue what his game is? That other Euros have failed miserably? Yeah, those are strong reasons. Glad we got that straight.

My bad. I forgot to add that he's humble.

My reasons were fantastic, thank you. I also said I'd rather take a risk on a big man with high potential, who can block shots.
