The proposed trade, maybe or maybe not done, is still in the air. Id you had a choice who would you take? The deal would still work if NYK got Big Dog instead of KVH by taking the sixers out of the mix. Just a thought-not a rumor.

obviously grobb, but layden wont do it.. he had the chance last season but turned it down.. and i have no idea why, i'd much rather have grobb, at least then i'd think our team got better in this trade.

The numbers don't work. Atlanta would have to send us someone else too. Someone making Othella type money. They don't have anyone like that.

This is a NY Atlanta trade. This doesn't work because Atlanta get Spree. They don't want Spree. They want Brandon's expiring contract. Minny want's Spree. TheSage wants to cut Philly out of the deal so we get GRobb, Minny gets Spree, and ATL gets the expiring contract. The salaries don't work.

The best chance to get Big Dawg was last yr. Now that he was playing for the Hawks, Mmgt in Atlanta don't want Spree!! Various times last yr, NY mentioned Spree's name to ATL but they don't want him. Don't matter anyway cause Spree's now in Minn... Didn't want Dawg anyway, not a team player...

I looked up this trade.
No way ATL is giving up Dan Dickau, and no way Minny is taking Frank. They don't need three point guards. Who do you think Kevin McHale is....

Yeah, well that was the only contract to make it work without overcomplicating the trade.

I wish more GM were as silly as LayDown... then we can get rid of more of these crazy contracts we have on our roster.
