1) Trade Malik Rose's expiring contract and the #6 pick to Sac for Ron Artest and the #12 pick.

2) Trade Zach Randolph and the #12 pick to Memphis for Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and #28 pick.

C = CURRY
PF = LEE
SF = ARTEST / CHANDLER
SG = MILLER / CRAW
PG = MARBURY / NATE

Draft Mario Chalmer at #28

8 man rotation with Marbs running the pick and roll with Curry, Lee rebounding and hustle, Artest defending the sf/sg spot ( he can shot ) and Miller, Craw and Nate the deep threats. Then 2009 season Marbs comes off the books, whild Q and Jerome James enter the final year of their contracts which are valuable in trade or keep and let expire. Then 2010 roster encludes:

Curry = final year of contract
Craw = final year of contract
JJ = final year of contract
everyone else is rookie contract or FA.

The Knicks need to make a draft pick at 6 or they need to trade up. Even if 2010 comes around you want the Knicks to have some pieces in place to entice Free Agents to come to the Knicks.

Wishful thinking that you can get Marbs back at all let alone having him coexist with Artest.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
