hurts our cap and i'm not sure phoenix would want to do something that doesn't give them cap space or help them immediately.

but it's a decent option and makes a lot of sense. we certainly could use a starting caliber SF.

It's about making the coach comfortable doing what he knows best. Diaw was awesome the year Amare got hurt and has taken a backseat. You always have to takje intenagibles into account--this is a guy the coach knows.

Playing in the east is not like playing in the west,I like Wilson Chandler have a breakout yr under D'Antoni
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I'd like to see what D'antoni can do with Jeffries before we trade for Diaw.

sure.

JJSkinny, Crawford, Chandler, Lee and Nate are good guys and should be very coachable. Very curious to see how good Mike is and what he can get out of these guys.

JJSkinny was very good in Wash press and trap where his length was utilized very well. JJ is regarded as very skilled. I never saw it w/ NY but we all know what a clusterfudge this team and its staff was.

Who regarded him as skilled? He had the same trouble here as he did in Washington--he's a brick layer. If he is talented--why did Wash not ante up only to the MLE?

However sports figures are always reborn--maybe they can get something positive from JJ--but on a consistent basis--we will see.

JJ2 & QBrick are probably the 2 least athletic SF's in the NBA. JJ2 is talented enough to be a versatile 12th man....that''s where he tops out these days. QBrick is less than that.

Why would Phoenix want both TJ and Nash?

I appear to be one of the few Boris Diaw supporters around here.

Diaw was very good when Amare went down and he has always tended to come up big in the playoffs. I have to think that D'Antoni would be interested in him and Boris would definitely be our starting SF off the bat. Contract is a problem but the guy just might be our best player in this system.

I don't see Phoenix moving him for Malik but I'd be intrigued with the deal that was mentioned with our #6 pick and something else going to Phoenix for Diaw, Barbosa and their #15.

How about this with Pheonix
