Zach for instance......he needs a center that can back him up inside rebounding and defensively. Philly has dalembert, Detroit has Sheed, and Denver has Camby.......I think those spots are perfect for Zach's talent. Those teams also have a need for what he can do on the court and would fit in seemlessly.

What about other players? Please give a list of teams and an explanation for why you chose them......doesn't have to make sense trade wise, just speaking hypothetically.

I absolutely agree with you, but I would add the Cavs to that Zach's list.

-Curry, believe it or not, IMO fits in San Antonio (I really think he would be very very good playing next to Duncan), and maybe the Bobcats and New Orleans (to play next to Okafor or Chandler.

Dark - do you think Zach could fit with Big Z there? I was gonna list the Cavs but wanted to engage this conversation. Big Z is still very good. He would deserve his touches. He's not a bull like Curry but he does occupy the same space......maybe Zach can fit the same way Gooden did, just way better. Its interesting.

Curry in San Antonio? Maybe but Curry doesn't mix it up inside enough. Besides all that the Spurs have nothing to offer.

Curry in charlotte is interesting since Larry Brown knows Curry. I don't think Brown would sign off on that.

Despite what DJ says, Curry probably would fit well in Toronto. Bosh needs a break from all the abuse. Curry can be his decoy.

Seattle could use Curry as well between a crew that has bayless probably, durant, wilcox, and Green with subs like watson, wilkins and collison.

About the cavs... well, I think Big Z, Ben Wallace and Zach can really be awesome if used correctly. As good as Big Z may be, they need scorers badly, and thats what Randolph can do. It would be obviously a trade to win just now. I dont know if they could be interested right now, but they have some pretty good expiring contracts we gladly would take, hehe. I would not take Ben Wallace in the trade though. Its a very interesting team to deal with.

I really believe Curry & Duncan can be really dangerous because you can not double-team both, and the Spurs are soooo awesome playing defense that I dont think they would almost notice him. Also, Oberto plays smart, but Curry "can" be an upgrade over him. The problem is that, as you said, they dont really have anything to offer.

I forgot about Larry being in Charlotte... damn! LOL! Well, Okafor+Curry still seems to be a pretty good combination on paper.

Seattle... they are so bad that even Malik could be their second leading scorer! So, yes, a 20 wins team, thats a nice fit for Eddy! They have some interesting expiring contracts.

What about Jamal? where does he fit? (assuming we draft a combo guard)

Wow, now that you guys mention this, am I the only one that thinks that Curry would be money in San Antonio. I'm talking purely from their perspective. Other guys would be able to cover for his deficiencies, Popovich would have him sweating Dr. Pepper and they would in turn have a low post offensive force to marry alongside Duncan. Plus they obviously wouldnt have to break up the big three to get him
Could really re-correct that franchise. I would seriously investigate it if I were them.

What would we get in return?

they were saying the same things about Spree. I say let Mike do his thing and raise the value of Curry/Zbo before entertaining offers. I don't see Walsh selling low.

I still say Zach to Cleveland. I think you hold on to Eddy to see if he A) fits or B) you can raise his value.

I don't think you can raise both at the same time given how poorly the team functions with them together.

I think you can still sell Zach based on what he did in Portland and slip in the whole "he's still that guy but didn't mesh with Eddy hence the dip in stats" thing and get away with it.

I think you could then go ahead and build Curry back up to 19/7 (or whatever it was) and once again have teams interested in him.

Crawful is another that's gotta go in fact out of the trio of doom - Curry's the least of the problems. Crawful however seems to sell himself as someone teams want. Why they want that I'll never figure it out but there is plenty of interest it would seem.

Yet, back to the point. Dump Zach quickly to get him out of the way - then you can easily build Eddy back up for future trade if desired.

think about how bad last year was for Zach. Bad chemistry w/ Curry, no coaching, fans booing, 20 win season, living in a party town, infighting w/ players and through all that BS Zach was pretty well behaved. He went out and played and did his thing and played good soldier. No arrests, no punching teammates, no suspensions for missing practices...

Are you saying we need to praise him for not being arrested and punching teammates and missing practices and all that? This is why I don't like Zach:

1) He b*itches like no other. I absolutely couldn't stand when he complained, numerous times, about how the fans were booing and stuff. It just means, to me, that he's another excuse maker.

2) He never, not once, seemed to make a commitment to being a team bball player. No effort on defense. Just the same one on one moves on offense, which I'm sure a real good defender can stop.

3) He's bad for chemistry. Those fights with Isiah were killers to this team.

allow me to play devil's advocate

1) He just said he didnt like it, and came from a team where there was more support. Also he was asked.. all he did was not lie

2) Did anyone on that team? He played hard, he hit the boards, he did what the coached was asked. Did Zach give less effort than anyone on that team?

3) What fights with Isiah? was Zach's role ever clearly defined? Isiah traded for him. Isiah brought him in here... did Isiah ever say "here's my plan for you..." ????

Isiah had a plan for nobody, and that is why I hated the trade even more. He just saw the first available player with talent, and went for him, with no regard for anything.

And about the complaining. Maybe he was "Telling the truth" that he didn't like how the fans booed, but the fans had every reason to boo. We were fed up with Isiah's crap. We were fed up with Marbury, the drama, the horrible basketball and Zach was acting like we were arsholes for booing, meanwhile, everyone on the team was acting like the arshole. ANd to me, the fans are the customers and they are very smart customers. And it didn't take a genius or a man with great eyesight to see the poor quality of play. We had a right to voice our opinions. Zach had no right to voice his opinion, b/c he was part of that poor play, and he shouldn't be complaining about the people paying him, unless he truely feels threatened or something.
