And what's this about Kobe having an out in his contract?

JVG was saying they need a good small fwd. I agree. They need a guy like I dunno.....Caron Butler! Sheesh.

They definately need to lose gasol and or odom......odom for Zach? Zach is this and that, but he isn't gonna go out like Gasol did.

Bynum is coming back. Zach could be their starting 4 and maybe they can swing a deal for Richard Jefferson or something with Gasol.

I don't think Lamar Odom is going to be in a Laker uniform much longer. That said, I'd love to have him come home and be our 3-man.

Odom needs to get away from Kobe. Odom was so much better in Miami. I'd take him back home but as a small fwd? He's at his best when he's handling. Dude is tailor made for D'antoni.

I think defensively they'll be fine but who they should go after is Ron Artest. I see a Ron Artest and Kenny Thomas for Odom deal getting done. Odom can be C-Webb lite in Sac-Town for a yr. The Lakers don't have a nasty player and if they get Artest he clamps down a someone like Pierce in the Finals.

i agree... they need a badass on their team & Ronnie is a badass fo sho... Gasol reminds me of this guy on the court, except he was anything but Fantastic tonight.

They need to hope that Bynum is fine and continues to improve and they'll be alright. However, if they want to win a championship they need to sign Ron Artest for the mid level. I think that'll put them over the top.

a healthy Bynum & the addition of a defensive stopper like Artest combined w/Kobe would give them a much needed defensive boost... they should trade Odom's expiring & Jordan Farmar for Baron Davis also... that's a team that needs to go all in for a title now while their window of opportunity is there.

C - Bynum
PF - Gasol
SF - Artest
SG - Kobe
PG - Davis
