Who's single Mock and not Mocks do you consider most to be the closest to accurate?

The mocks at draftexpress and nbadraft net change too much in the days leading up to the draft to give either of them props, but I think nbadraft.net generally has the most accurate final mock and is a little bit closer during the year to how it will shake out. Draftexpress takes more time scouting and has better profiles in general.

Yeah, I dont know about any mocks in any sport that really have a hit rate way over 30%- as long as they can hit most of the top 10 in the right spots thats really all they can do. Over the years I've found NBAdraft.net has been pretty good about staying with who's stock is moving up and down, but as draftexpress has been around for a few more years, they are probably getting better info from scouts and other contacts. Neither is going to be taken as gospel- you need to read the profiles and try to form your own conclusions.

That's why I think its so ridiculous out there to say we reached for a guy like Balkman or to complain about any reaches- who out there is picking the 20's accruately to say that Player X shouldn't be n that spot. Clearly not any of these websites everyone uses.

When a player is traded after they are drafted for another team it throws most mocks out of whack.

I acknowledged a couple trades were made but even then when you look at picks 1-30 they still got plenty of them wrong.

exact pick seems to me like a bad way to keep track of who is the better mock draft site. Miss 1 early and every pick after that is way off. How about differential from where the pick was predicted and where it was actually made. I guess harder to figure out but maybe a better indication of how the mock went.

Good point because in this last post I made I gave NBAdraft.net credit for selecting Thabo at 16(had the Bulls picking him) when they traded with Philly who had pick 13. The Bulls ended up picking Thabo at 13...so IMO they got that pick right. Meanwhile Philly selected Carney at 16 after the trade but Carney was mocked at pick 11. You're correct it would be much harder to see a more detailed layout of their projections. I went the lazy route.

The way people score football mock drafts are: 1 point for each player correctly placed in round. 2 points for players matched to correct teams that pick them.
