i've been laying out trade ideas for Yi for a long time meng... i think he'd be perfect for D'Antoni's style.

I don't think you can get a player like Yi because it looks very much like the Bucks are building around Yi and Bogut.

I wouldn't mind getting Yi, but why would the Bucks trade him? They went through alot of crap just to get him to play for them.

And he really isn't happy, He is more less just being a profesional.

I don't know about building around those two, i don't see them being all stars for years if at all. I have nothing against the chins, but Yao is special, Yi doesn't seem to have to much of an up side be sides shooting.

I thought Yi was mostly misused last season.
Why have him shoot 18-23 for jumpers.
He's got a nice turnaround jumper and mid=range game, and can crash the boards.

I still don't think he's mentally tough enough and he gets down on himself.
Also he's sort of in tweenerville, not strong enough to play PF, not really able to guard SF's. Still can develop into a Lamar Odom type player.
I'd hope he struggles under Skiles and try to pick him up in two years time, when he should be ready to improve.

I would rather go after Bogut and Redd. Is Mil going to give Bogut a max deal?

Zach & Balk for Redd
D Lee, Malik & the #6 for Bogut & Yi
Marbury for JO

C - O'Neal / Curry / Turd
PF - Bogut / Jefferies
SF - Yi / Chandler
SG - Redd / Q Rich

If the Milwaukee GM Lenny Harris was basically just fired for trying to acquire ZBo for Milwaukee's garbage (aka Simmons, Charlie V, Gadz), why would the new GM dump Redd for him? It makes no sense. The Milwaukee owner has come out and said he wouldn't want a cancer like ZBo.

Maybe you can do Redd for Marbury, but that's it.

i'm not saying it makes sense but for Redd i don't make any deals unless we're throwing back Zach... if it has to be a 3 way deal, fine... Marbury for Redd is a no for me... he's way too 1 dimensional.
