CDR is looking just OK apparently. Jordan and McGee have sucked. Darrell Arthur is apparently gettig a promise from SacraTomato (Which mind you, I predicted they'd draft him). Fried Galinari is pulling out if he does not get a top 10 promise.

Meanwhile, all the expected top 10 picks have apparently been impressive. Hey, I have a great idea! Lets give up our top 10 pick and trade down and pull ourselves away from drafting a star, just so we can get rid of Randolph.

Cool man.

Or get Ronnie Brewer.

Who is this guaranteed star that we're picking at 6 anyway?

I wouldn't mind Brewer, although I'd prefer Almond. I think we can get Almond without having to give up out lotto pick though.

I told you. I want to draft Randolph, and nobody's a guaranteed star, but with his skillset, and shotblocking, and the fact that he's aggresive, I think he's as close to being a star as anyone. I wouldn't be fooled by his skinny frame.

First of all CDR was never a mid first rounder projected talent. He was projected an average draft position of 22 as of last week

Actually Javale Mcgee and Jordan were projected in many Mocks above 13 Briggs's cut off point in talent. Also Javale and Jordan were clearly understood to be project players. Meanwhile players slated in the mid lottery to bottom half 25-15 like Brandon Rush, Donte Greene, Joe Alexander, stocks are rising to be pick 15-8 and players like Kevin Love and Danilo Gallinari stocks are very fluctuating along with Brook Lopez sliding and is believed will continue to slide.

First off, Joe Alexander and Kevin Love are going top 10 most likely. My point has been this the whole time. They are the best players and I'd rather take the best players and find a way to deal with Zach after that. We can always buy another pick or make smarter trades.

Either way, I want to draft either AR, Mayo, Love or Westbrook (Preferably AR) and they are going top 8 most likely, so I'd rather stay where we are, or move up.

Kevin Love is one of those if he isn't someone's clear guy in the Top 5 he could slide out of the Top 10. Besides NBAdraft.net and Draftexpress which are pretty reliable Alexander is out of the Top 10. The rumor I'm hearing is Portland has a hard on for him and may look to swing a deal with Milwaukee because that's his highest slated position. You can look at it from whatever angle you want.

Would you get rid of Lee for the 3rd pick?

I think I might have to do that, and I love Lee, but a possible chance for Rose, Beasley or Mayo (All pending on who Chicago picks, unless he got the promise already) and if Miami decides that they want Mayo the most. I'd have to go for that. Would you?

yes i would... if Mayo comes as advertised then it's well worth it... we can always trade for a hustling rebounder like Reggie Evans or an Etan Thomas later to help fill that role but we won't have chances to nab a star calibre prospect anytime soon... or if we end up w/Beasley it's not a bad consolation prize.
