He is playing so bad and being sooo afraid of facing Garnett that it is disapointing me so much, and Im one of his biggest fans.
I think its too late to mend this, but I hope he stops passing shots so often.

Somewhere along the line, he decided to model his game like Dirk's.

Yeah he did, might be his best game of the playoffs.

he's still a crappy defender... his slow reactions on help D remind me of Eddy Curry & Zach for crying out loud... he made some nice passes & was working hard in the paint on offense but this Lakers squad needs to step up their team D about 12 more notches if they expect to take 2 games in Boston.

Boston would have won last night if they played just a little smarter on the offensive end. If Rondo played just a little better and if KG wasn't in foul trouble, then Boston would be having a tickertape as we speak. If KG wasn't in foul trouble, Gasol wouldn't have played nearly as well.

I haven't watched much of the game from what I haven seen... if Rondo had a consistent outside shot, BOS would be celebrating.

Yup. Derek Fisher, who is normally a very reliable free throw shooter, miss a lot of them last night. Boston should have capitalized. KG needs to stay out of FT.

not to mention Sasha's John Starks impersonation in game 7... these guys were throwing up bricks all game long... they're lucky they're still alive at this point.

Not surpised about Ow! Gasol, but damn whats good with KG? Its hard for him to play ball with his own hands around his neck. The air is going to get pretty damn thick if KG lays another brick in game six.

So many people are doubting the Lakers - and I can see it to some extent - but if they didnt crumble in game 3 they would be up 3-2....

If they win tonight, I would say they are favorites to take game 7.

I think the real question in this series is KG, he has not played well. I am sick and tired of all the praise this guy gets and I like the fact that Ron Artest called him out as did Vescey.

He is always cursing after dunks, pounding his chest and acting like the man, until it gets tight and he starts missing fadeaways and free throws.

The guy's free throw percentage is down 10% and his fg's are 40% down from the mid 50's the series before and he is not facing great defenders. Not to mention he is turning it over almost 3.3 times a game.

If this goes 7 look for KG to totally fold. Boston is lucky Pierce is carrying them to victory.

KG, Pierce, Ray Allen are all second tier "superstars", step down from LeBron, Kobe, Jordan, etc. I would say that KG is not as offensively gifted as the rest but he evens it out by playing some pretty good D.

+1. Take into account all the playoff games they've played too. If the Celtics don't end this tonight, they face Kobe Bryant in a Game 7. Not a situation ANYONE wants to be in.

I would equate Kobe in Game 7 to facing Tiger 1 on 1 in a playoff at a major - you just know he is going to win it somehow.

It will be interesting to see how tonight goes. I think the Celtics have to be favored because they are home, but if the Lakers REALLY want this, I could see them taking it to game 7 (something I would like to see).
