Joe Alexander and Eric Gordon got the longest sound bites.

Couple surprises of who didn't know we even worked out

There's one thing I don't understand about Alexander. He's one of the strongest players in the draft and one of the most athletic players in the draft, yet he only got between 6 and 7 boards a game in 30 + minutes. I don't think he rebounds well enough to start at the 4 and I don't think he shoots well enough to start at the 3. I see him as a good backup for both positions.

I really really really really want Joe Alexander.. I wish there was another way we could attain a pick so we could draft him. I got a feeling that this guy in D'Antoni's system would just be too perfect.

Theres quite a few guys who I think can excell in D'Atoni's system. I wish I could get a look at Love workouts minus the 15lbs of weight. I was impressed with him at UCLA andd could only imagine how much better he looks.

If Love slips to 6 and Mayo is off the board, I think you have to take this kid. Great team player, passer, rebounder, and can consistantly knock down the jumper via the pick and pop. Drafting Love allows us to move Lee for a pick (Nets? Portland?) then we can have a shot at DJ Augustine, Joe Alexander, Westbrook, and possibly even Randolph.

would Shane Battier w/hops be a decent comparison?
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Eh, Alexander isn't nearly as good defensively.

If I was going to compare him to someone, it would be Turkoglu, with hops.
