What would you expect back if you trade Lee this summer?

Here is the question do you pay Lee 45 million and have him start at the 4? You will get about 15-11 from him and shoot 55% from the field we know this if given the minutes? Do you trade him for a draft pick and if so how high? Do you package him with a bad contract? Thoughts?

King 1 I would give David Lee his 8-8.5mm per.
I would take the best player available at 6 that fits the system
I would try reasonable trades to get rid of some players.
If I cant get rid of some players I will have faith in Mike D to raise their value so I dont sell at a low while their contracts diminish

The worst thing the Knicks have done is overpay in trades and contracts. That has to stop.

I think no one should be untouchable on the Knicks right now. Actually I wish the pick was the only thing considered untouchable. That being said, Lee is one of the guys on the team who is motivated, plays hard and puts up numbers. He is a character guy which is what D'Antoni wants because he is not a disciplinarian. I think if the right offer comes along you trade Lee. However, the Knicks need to act from a position of strength and not give a talent like Lee away to dump salary. I think if you could package Lee and move up to 2 in the draft it would be worth it.
