ok.. do 17/10 players that shoot over 50% grow on trees? Search NBA rosters.. its not like every team has a couple of those guys to spare.
Look.. I am with you in that we need to upgrade many areas. Its hard to envision anyone on this roster doing anything good after what we have seen but its possible. None of the players on this roster except Curry have really been put in a position to suceed under Isiah. Not saying Mike D and Walsh will squeeze blood from a stone but I do think we will get a better look at what these players can do in a better system
If we trade Lee it better be a damn good deal with someone named Beasley, Rose or Mayo involved, and I am not talking Jalen or Malik
I agree woth you to a point. To me guys like Lee are best on good teams and best when locked up in terms of contract before they explode. Those stats are close to the equivilant of Rasheed Wallace. Lee strikes me as a notch below him because I don't think Lee will develop a 3 point shot, he is sort of a sf/pf tweener, he doesn't have Rasheed's leadership qualities, and he isn't 6-11.
My other concern is resigning him, albeit to a lesser extent. I see Lee as a 7-8 mil player max. If they can resign him to a contract like that, great, but I bet he gets a 9-11 mil deal as a FA. Granted, like Zach we don't have to do anything now, but I am open to moving him for the right price.
