Well... one positive is that Lampe finally shot over 50% (7-13fg, 1-2 from 3pt land) for 17 points. I think he'll have finally arrived when he grabs more than 5 rebounds. :) Looking at the guy, he looks like he's got a larger frame than any current Knick--- you'd think he'd be a complete stiff, but he's pretty mobile.

Sweetney scored 16, gettings some calls and going 6-8 from the line. Distributed the ball a little for 4 assists.

Frank Williams was ineffective, 1-7 from the field, 4 assists.

The team shot 37%...

Last year's Knick pick, Hilario, performed quite well with 18 points, 6 rbds, and 3 blocks...

Carmelo lead all scorers with 20. I think Detroit is going to be sorry they passed up on him.

Think of him as very mobile for 7' 270lb guy. :) Don't mistake him for Garnett or Nowitzki (he's bigger than them).

they need to get that out of their heads, this kid is a different breed of player, I mean he is 270 and don't be fooled this kid can move with the best of them. Now he doesn't have the athleticism of Garnett(but who does at that height) but he can move better than most his height and some smaller than him. I have seen him play 3 times now and I know this is summer league but think of it. You have a 18 year old kidd not named Lebron scoring 17 points and 18 points on guys much older and who have played in this league for years...

To say he is slow and bumbling is ridiculous!!

It seems that he is more Gasol than Nowitzki. Granted I have not seen any games but with his skills and size he seems more like a Center or PF type. Either way I am happy.
